How this works — three steps
- Upload the resume you already have. Word or PDF. In Word you can highlight any wording that must never change; safe defaults cover the rest.
- Paste the job posting you're chasing. Skill suggestions and keyword matching ground in what it actually asks for.
- Build. Weak bullets are strengthened from your own words, your layout is kept — or the build refuses and tells you why — and you get Word and PDF back with a report of exactly what changed.
How your bullets get written
Every bullet is aimed at the shape career offices teach — the one recruiters are trained to scan for:

We check every bullet you upload against those three parts and show you which ones are missing a piece. Where the fix is wording, the engine can make it. Where it needs a number only you know, it asks you — it will never invent a figure to fill the gap. That is the whole point of the product.

How this works — three steps
- Upload the resume you already have. Word or PDF. In Word you can highlight any wording that must never change; everything else falls back to safe defaults (name, contact, employers, dates and education stay fixed).
- Review what's fixed, add your skills. You'll see every line and choose what the engine may reword. A suggestions list drawn from real postings for your role gives you skills to accept instead of a blank box.
- Paste a job posting and build. Every bullet is strengthened into the format recruiters scan for and checked against your own wording — you get Word and PDF back, with a report of exactly what changed.
Start with the resume you already have
Open it in Word first and highlight the wording that must never change — yellow, green or pink. Every highlighted phrase gets locked, and nothing in the system may alter it afterwards.
Why highlighting?
A resume gets tailored per job. Some things must not be: your name, a degree, a figure that was signed off, a link that has to stay clickable. Highlighting is how you say so — no forms, no configuration files. Anything you don't highlight falls back to a safe default: name, contact, employer, dates, education and publications stay locked; summary, skills and bullet points stay tailorable.
Avoid blue — it reads as a hyperlink. Only Word (.docx) carries highlighting; a PDF is read as text, so its locks start as safe defaults (name, contact, employers, dates, education) shown to you on the next screen. PDF parses most accurately overall — if your resume lives in Word, you can also highlight there and export both ways.

What stays locked
Ticked lines are locked: reproduced word for word, never rewritten. Your Word highlights arrive pre-ticked, and safe defaults cover the rest — name, contact, employers, dates, education. Tick anything else that must never change; untick anything the engine may reword.
Save this key
It is the only way back to your data. We store a one-way hash of it, so it cannot be looked up, resent, or recovered — by you or by us.
With an account there is no key to manage: sign in with email and password and this pack attaches to it automatically.

Your resume imported fine, but its contact block was not readable as text — usually because it sits in a text box or a graphic. Add it here and you are ready to build. Nothing else needs re-uploading.
Add supporting evidence
counting…More evidence means more you can truthfully say — and building is locked until you've added enough. One resume only tells the engine what that one document says; with three or more documents it can actually recommend strong, truthful bullet points. Best uploads: your resume written for different job types, performance reviews, project write-ups — or record yourself below.
What makes good evidence?
Documents that state facts about your work: performance reviews, reference letters, project write-ups, award notices, publication lists, certificates, old resumes. A number you want on your resume — team size, a percentage, a dollar figure — should appear in one of these.
Cover letters count too — they're your own account of your work, so add them. One thing to know: the engine treats everything here as fact, so write about what you've actually done, not what you hope to do. DOCX, PDF, TXT or MD.
Record your experience
Talk through a job like you're answering an interviewer — what you did, how many, how long, what came of it. Your words are transcribed in your browser (nothing is uploaded while you speak), you edit the transcript, and one click adds it to your evidence. Numbers you SAY out loud become numbers the engine may truthfully use.
Live transcription needs Chrome or Edge (the browser's built-in speech recognition). You can still type or paste an interview transcript into the evidence box above.

What you list here feeds keyword matching directly — a skill that also appears in a posting gets selected into that resume automatically. Nothing beyond what you declare is ever added on your behalf. Saves by itself a moment after you add or remove one.

Section lets one role appear under more than one heading (e.g. "Technical Experience" and "Leadership Experience") with different bullets in each — leave blank for a single Experience section. Rewording bounds how far AI assist may reword each bullet; your bullet text itself is never editable here.
